Back in July last year I attended a beginners crochet course with the lovely Sara, of One Churchills Green, where I very happily (but with quite a bit of help) made an apple cosy. Since then I’ve been busy knitting away but was still a bit scared of the crochet hook. Recently I finally decided to pick up the hook again and I think I’m getting the hang of it! I found this simple pattern in a recent Mollie Makes, although I don’t think I’ll be making the 400 odd squares needed to make this throw. Maybe a little baby blanket will be a better starting project! Tension is still a problem (you can see that some of the blocks are quite different in size. Whoops!) but we’ll see what happens. I’ll post an update once I’ve finished. Although don’t hold your breath, it may take a while…
Woohoo! I’ve mastered crochet! (sort of, but not really)
